Mark your calendars! If you are down on the Cape for it, you don't want to miss the annual Provincetown and Nantucket Film Festivals. Both events take place from June 13th through June 17th. The festivals honor innovative, international film makers, and seek to preserve and sustain cinema as art. The film festivals fill the streets with patrons and film makers and actors alike.
This year marks the 9th annual festival for Provincetown, where Kathleen Turner will be honored as a recipient of the Provincetown Film Festival Lifetime Achievement Award. "La Vie en Rose", written by Isabelle Sobelman and Olivier Dahan and Directed by Olivier Dahan, will kick off Provincetown's festival. The film stars Marion Cotillard, Sylvie Testud, and G�rard Depardieu. With over 50 different films and events happening, there's something for everyone at the Provincetown International Film Festival.
While you're in Provincetown, be sure to grab a bite to eat at Napi's restaurant.
